This policy explains what we collect, why, and what we do with it. The short version: we collect what we need to sell you a part and email you if you asked us to. We do not sell your information.
What we collect
- Order information — name, email, shipping and billing address, and the contents of your order.
- Payment information — handled entirely by Stripe. We never receive or store your full card number.
- Email address — if you subscribe, or if you enter it during checkout.
- Usage data — standard analytics about pages visited and how you reached us.
How we use it
To process and ship orders, provide support, send order and shipping notifications, and — only if you subscribed — send occasional product news. If you abandon a checkout after entering your email, we may send you a single reminder.
Who we share it with
Only the services required to run the store: Stripe for payments, Resend for email delivery, Netlify for hosting, Google Analytics for usage statistics, and shipping carriers for delivery. Each receives only what it needs. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information.
Cookies and analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand traffic. You can block cookies in your browser; the store will still work. Marketing emails include tracking that tells us whether a message was opened.
Your choices
Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link that works immediately. You may request a copy of the personal information we hold, or ask us to delete it, by emailing standardamericanoutdoors@gmail.com. We will honor verified requests, except where we must retain records for tax or accounting purposes.
Data security and retention
The site runs over HTTPS and payment data is handled by Stripe under its own security standards. We keep order records as long as needed for warranty, accounting, and legal obligations.
Children
This store is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their information.
