These are the only full-length racks built specifically for the 1990–95 4Runner. All three share the same aluminum sides and steel crossbars and add just 2.25 inches of roof height. They differ in mounting points: the Light Duty uses six, the Medium Duty eight, and the V3 HD fourteen — which is what makes it the only one rated for a roof top tent. Every rack requires drilling.

Which one do I need?
If a roof top tent is in your future, the V3 HD. If it's cargo boxes, traction boards and gear, the Light or Medium Duty depending on how much you carry.
Do I really have to drill?
Yes. All three mount on steel rivnuts set into the roof. That's what makes them hold; it's also what makes people hesitate. The install guide below shows the whole process.
